Our volunteers are the heart and soul of the Harry Tompson Center. We would not be able to provide half of the services we presently provide without our volunteers. Collectively, our volunteers provide over 300 hours of service a month representing a value of over $8,000 each month! We are so very grateful that our caring volunteers take time to help those in need.

We have many types of volunteers. Some volunteer an entire year, some once a week for several hours and others several times a year. Some volunteer to serve in a regular position such as a medical receptionist, kiosk welcome staff, data entry specialist, phone services coordinator, nurse, etc. while others choose to help out several times a year coordinating donation drives or helping to coordinate our annual Gala. All of the volunteers fill a special role and are part of the HTC team. There’s a place for everyone at the HTC. Have an idea of a service we could provide and want to make it happen? Let us know!

Here are testimonies from some of our faithful volunteers.

I am reminded everyday that I spend with the guests at that HTC that it’s all about the little things. Smiles and kindness go a long way.

“There but for the grace of God go I”. I am grateful for all the blessings in my life and HTC has given me an opportunity to share God’s love with my brothers and sisters.
