HTC is a partner in the Mayor’s Initiative to End Veteran Homelessness in New Orleans by the end of 2014.  Over 17 of our own case management clients were part of this group. The Harry Tompson Center participated in a carefully drafted strategic plan, spearheaded by the City and Unity of Greater New Orleans, which pulled together housing resources and paired them with veterans experiencing homelessness.  As of December 31, all 227 veterans who had been identified by July 1have now been housed!
